Promoting business and professional growth

Since its founding in 1959, The Brentwood Baldwin Whitehall Chamber of Commerce has worked to promote every business within our Chamber. Our vision has always been to make our community a better place to live, shop, and do business. As business people, we come together and reach out to every aspect of the community. We sponsor activities to inform residents and businesses of our goods and services. Our luncheons, dinners, and mixers, give us an opportunity to discuss our needs, present our products and services, and discover what others have to offer.

In addition to keeping you advised of local, state, and federal government activities that affect business issues, we unite to influence government decisions and interventions that affect the business climate. We come together to solve problems and address barriers to our prosperity. We cooperate with school districts and all the organizations within them. We assist other civic and municipal organizations, and we honor the families who in turn support our businesses.

The Chamber invites all businesses, professionals, and civic organizations to join us. Together we can work to promote the growth and excellence of our communities. Learn more about us.

Corridor Communities

Small Busines Workshop Series

Economic Development South is excited to launch Corridor Communities Small Business Series in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC). The mission of this series is to grow the economy of the Route 51 and Brownsville Road corridors by providing business owners with the education and tools to improve their enterprises. The second of these workshops, operations and Management Growth, will be held on Thursday, October 16th, at the Whitehall Borough Building.

The workshops will aid small business owners in defining and capturing customers, understanding the financial condition of the business, management structures, and operations and management of growth. EDS encourages all local business owners to take advantage of these free evening workshops.

In addition to quarterly workshops, small-business owners will have access to one-on-one business consulting services and comparative analysis services of their small business offered by the SBDC and peer-to-peer sessions.

We look forward to seeing small business owners and entrepreneurs in February!
